Answer: A BeachSpot is a designated area on the beach created by a local user.

 

Question: Who are Tourists and Locals?

Answer: There are two types of users:

- Local users are individuals located at the beach spot.

- Tourists are individuals who can be located anywhere in the world, even 

in their living room.

 

Question: How does BeachSpot work?

Answer: A BeachSpot functions as a beach location that can be found and accessed through the BeachSpot app.

 

Question: What does a Local do?

Answer: A Local creates the BeachSpot and makes it visible to Tourists and other Locals.

 

Question: What does a Tourist do?

Answer: A Tourist can use the BeachSpot app to search for BeachSpots that have been created by Locals.

 

Question: What does a Local do with his BeachSpot?

Answer: A Local presents their services and products at their BeachSpot. This can include:

- Hiring out sun loungers or umbrellas

- Providing water sports equipment such as jets, surfing, and SCUBA diving gear

- Selling plain cold bottled water or ice cream

The BeachSpot app lists these offerings for you.

 

Question: How does a Local use the App?

Answer: A Local can use the app by following these steps:

1. Take a nice picture of their stretch of beach and upload it.

2. Upload images for the products and services they offer.

That's it!

 

Question: What advantages and possibilities does BeachSpot offer?

Answer: BeachSpot offers the following advantages and possibilities:

- For Locals: The ability to potentially book their entire season in advance.

- For Tourists: A wide selection of locals and offers to choose from.

 

Question: What does a Local need to be able to use BeachSpot legally?

Answer: To legally operate a business on the beach using BeachSpot, a Local needs:

- A trade license from the relevant authorities.

- Permission from the owner for private beaches where applicable.

 

Question: What happens if the Local cancels an order?

Answer: If the Local cancels the order, BeachSpot refunds the 

Product Price (excluding the Service Fee) to the Tourist.

 

Question: What happens if the Tourist cancels an order?

Answer: If the Tourist cancels the order:

- If cancelled within 3 days before the rental date, BeachSpot refunds the full Product Price to the Tourist (excluding the Service Fee).

- If cancelled later (e.g., 2 or 1 day before the rental date), BeachSpot refunds 80% of the Product Price to the Tourist (excluding the Service Fee).

 

Question: How does BeachSpot guarantee order processing?

Answer: BeachSpot guarantees order processing through completion, which occurs when the Local fulfills the order and the Tourist successfully obtains and returns the rented product after use. This process is facilitated with a QRC check.

 

Question: When is the Local paid?

Answer: BeachSpot disburses payment to the Local after the order has been successfully completed.

 

Question: How many products and services can I offer with BeachSpot?

Answer: A Local can offer an unlimited number of products and services for a particular BeachSpot; their budget is the only limiting factor.

 

Question: Why is BeachSpot not offered in my country?

Answer: Currently, BeachSpot is available in 49 countries. If BeachSpot is not offered in your country, it is because the respective local banks do not collaborate with our providers.

 

Question: How can I pay for everything at BeachSpot?

Answer: BeachSpot provides a diverse array of payment options.
